Asahi Body Care — Hamby Town is led by Saori Ura, who holds Japan's national Judo Therapy license — a hands-on therapy qualification, not a martial arts rank. Every practitioner here holds a Japanese national license. We listen to your concerns about posture, everyday stiffness, and physical fatigue, and provide hands-on body care. This is not medical treatment.

Do you speak English?
We do not have English-speaking staff on site. However, we have an English questionnaire and menu sheets available, and we use translation apps to communicate with you throughout your visit. Service members, families, and English-speaking residents visit us regularly, and this approach has worked well for most visits.
Can I walk in?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome during business hours, subject to availability. On busy days, you may need to wait or come back at another time. For a smoother visit, we recommend sending a quick message through our contact form in advance.
Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is not required, but recommended for a smoother visit. Please note that your appointment is confirmed only after our staff replies to your form submission by email.
Can I get an English receipt?
We're sorry — receipts are issued in Japanese only. We're happy to provide a Japanese receipt on request; please let our staff know at the front desk on the day of your visit. Please check with your provider whether a Japanese receipt is accepted.
Do you accept TRICARE?
We do not offer direct billing for TRICARE at this time. Receipts are issued in Japanese only. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your plan, your insurance provider, or your benefits office — including whether a Japanese-language receipt is accepted — so please verify in advance.
Can my family visit?
Yes, families are welcome, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Before starting any hands-on care, our director will talk with you — and with your child — to check that it is a good fit.
What should I bring?
Please bring an ID and any documents your plan, your insurance provider, or your benefits office requires you to bring — for example, forms needed for a reimbursement claim. Comfortable clothing is helpful, but not required.
